We offer both liquid and dry fertilizers that work to the same degree. There are lots of opinions on dry versus liquid, however, First Klass is confident in both products. Dry fertilizers will sit on top of the soil until watered and are able to sink into the soil.
Our associates apply our products at a speed that is condusive to the machines and sprayers used. That said, depending on the treatment plan you choose, First Klass could be at your residence anywhere from an hour to 3 hours.
It is best if your lawn has been raked before we apply a treatment. However, it is possible for us to apply our products as long as there is not heavy debris coverage on the lawn.
It is best to treat crabgrass before May. Although, we can effectively apply treatment for crabgrass through mid May.
It is safe to go back on a treated lawn about 1 to 2 hours after the product is applied.
Most products will still be effective after it has rained. However, it has rained heavily for an extended period of time, the treatment might not be as effective as it should be. We are happy to monitor these circumstances for you and re-apply the treatment if it is determined that treatment was not effective.
There are many things that can lead to grubs and cause the spread of grubs. We offer free estimates and evaluations, so feel free to give us a call if you feel you might have a grub problem.
It is best to aerate your lawn one time in the fall. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about aeration.
